Schools Only is an exciting new on-line community designed for school pupils & staff. It allows users to communicate in a secure, protected environment. Because of our unique registration process, Schools Only can only be accessed by verified school pupils & staff.
Its a disturbing fact that forums and chat rooms, designed for children, are regularly frequented by adults.
The power and ease of on-line communication comes with the drawback of anonymity, allowing inappropriate usage with little chance of being verified.
The dangers of on-line communication for children are detailed on the government backed web site Internet Safety Zone.
Schools Only removes this lack of verification by posting user logon credentials to the school. This unique approach minimizes the possibility of any inappropriate access.
Registration requires the entry of a desired UserId, user's name, email & class\job. Once a letter of confirmation has been posted to the school, only the UserId and email are
transferred to the user's on-line profile. Any extra information added to the profile is at the user's discretion.
Although a profile is visible only to other users from the same school, users are strongly advised to refrain from adding too much personal
details to their profile.
